A rose bouquet can mark an anniversary, a proposal or a birthday, or simply show someone you are thinking of them. Start with the recipient’s preferences, then choose the colour, size and presentation that fit the occasion.
Our Rose Only collection lets you compare rose designs and the options offered for each one. Read the photographs, quantity information and booking requirements together before choosing.
Choose the rose colour they will love
A red rose bouquet is a familiar choice for a romantic gift. A white rose bouquet can suit someone who enjoys a lighter palette, while a pink rose bouquet can range from soft blush tones to a brighter look. Hot pink may appeal to someone who prefers stronger colour.
Treat these as design choices, rather than rules about what a colour must mean. A favourite shade or a colour connected to a shared memory can make the gift more personal.
Selected Rose Only designs offer different colour options, including shades such as red, pink, hot pink or Quicksand where listed. These choices are not available on every design, and availability for your date should be checked. If an exact shade matters, ask before ordering.
Compare the presentation as well as the roses
The arrangement and wrapping change the feel of the gift. A rounded bouquet gives a different impression from a more decorative design, even when the flowers are similar.
For someone who enjoys a delicate presentation, consider a ballet-inspired style where offered. For a simpler look, compare the available arrangement and wrapping options on the product page.
Read what each option means. If Creative Wrapping allows the florist to select the wrapping colour, it should not be treated as a guaranteed colour chosen by you. Use the current description alongside the sample photographs.
How many roses should you choose?
There is no required number of roses for an anniversary or proposal. Choose the quantity and size around the recipient, your budget and how the bouquet will be carried or displayed.
A compact bunch of roses may be easier to take home after dinner. A larger bouquet can suit a gift received at home, where it can be put in place without carrying it through several activities.
Check the stated stem count or size options for each product. The same size label does not necessarily mean the same quantity across different designs, and the photograph may show one particular option.
Match the bouquet to the occasion
For an anniversary, choose a style the recipient already loves or a colour that reminds you of a shared moment. A short card can explain the connection without relying on a particular rose count to carry the message.
For an engagement proposal, consider where the flowers will wait, when you will hand them over and who will carry them afterwards. We offer flower gifts; any venue setup or broader proposal arrangements need to be organised separately.
Browse the Lover collection for romantic flowers and occasion-led choices. For Valentine’s Day, check the seasonal range and ordering arrangements rather than assuming every year-round design is available on the day.
Allow time for advance ordering
Blanc 27 offers Glebe pickup and delivery across Sydney. Rose Only bouquets of 21 or more roses require at least three days’ notice. Individual products, including some smaller or special designs, may also need advance preparation.
Read the product requirements before choosing a delivery or pickup date. The general same-day cutoff is not a promise that every rose design can be prepared that day.
If a particular shade or handover time is important, contact our shop before ordering. Review the delivery options and fees shown for your address and selected date.
Care for the roses after they arrive
For cut roses intended for a vase, use a clean vase, remove foliage below the waterline and trim the stems with clean tools. Use flower food as directed and keep the arrangement in a cool place, away from direct sun and heat.
Check the water and replace it when needed. The Royal Horticultural Society’s cut-flower guidance explains these basic care steps. For a design in floral foam or another container, follow the instructions supplied with that arrangement rather than treating it as loose vase stems.
How long a bouquet lasts depends on the flowers, their condition and the environment. Follow the care guidance rather than planning around a guaranteed number of days.
Make the choice personal
A meaningful rose gift does not need every colour, the largest size or a particular number of stems. Choose what fits the recipient, add a message in your own words, and check the preparation time before ordering.
